Collective Care Fest
This mural was made with community members who attended Collective Care Fest August 3rd, 2024 at Brick at Blue Star.
Sacred Solidarity, a community mural, reminds us of the power that lies in being there for one another, uplifting and supporting one another in our communities. From San Antonio and beyond, it gives love to Palestine and Congo through flag symbolism, and the rainbow aesthetic shares that solidarity with our queer communities. Our historic and present struggles are interconnected, and we must support one another in sacred solidarity to resist them.
