“Rough and fragrant interruptions of sticky, thorny weeds embedded in the soft textured web of my sock fabric conjures further montages of backyard play and neighborhood treks where the imaginary and real are all inextricable. Outside might as well have been the color of dandelions. Those far-off yesterdays are green in their origin of my life and yellow in their emotional tones. It all reminds me that I should more often dream and get dirty in activities of exploration and play.”
